As we move towards our two schools merging, we want as many opportunities as possible for our pupils and staff to get to know each other across the two sites.
Taking place at our Woodingdean school, we’re holding a number of weekly activities organised throughout the year for both schools to mix together, including drumming workshops, Brazilian dancing, tree planting and many more.
We’ve already had some great feedback from pupils who’ve found Woodingdean to be “really friendly” and staff who’ve found it a “really positive experience”.
We’re also arranging tours of our building works for children that have expressed an interest in looking around. And we’re just finishing off painting some of our building hoardings with blackboard paint and will be inviting pupils from both schools to get creative with colourful chalky artwork.
